Twisted Love Gala Premiere @ The Curve

I'm really delighted to receive invitation from Newskaki to attend Twisted Love Gala Premiere at The Curve 8pm 19/04/2012. I have posted the synopsis here.

After I have exchanged for the gala premiere pass from the print out, I headed to upstairs and surprised that they even served some light dinner for us. I happened yet to take my dinner so this is just nice for me.

These are really nice foods.

About 8.30pm, the event about to start. The host is actually the 8TV host, Jason which really create a happening environment even before the movie cast arrived.

The first actor arrived is Alvin Wong which I'm sure most of us familiar with him.

Then, the supporting actress, Joey Leong, Candy Ice and director, Chai Yee Wei reached.

Finally, Mark Lee and Mimi Zhu arrived.

This is the first time I get to meet Mark Lee in person and I'm so surprised that he look way more good looking than in movie/TV. A picture with the boss before they start the movie.

I didn't give high expectation as I thought it maybe boring. But with the marvelous acting by the cast especially Mark Lee and Mimi Zhu. I really can't stop my laughing along the movie. This is a movie combination of comedy and horror. There is total 3 parts of the stories.

My personal preference will be 1st and 3rd part by Mark Lee and Mimi Zhu. Both experienced artist having really good performance but still keep the sense of humor. Special highlight on Joey Leong as I think she handled her character as Mimi Zhu's daughter well also.

There's only 1 part I couldn't understand when Alvin Wong's partner fighting with Mimi Zhu then the scene have jumped to Alvin Wong's part. Then it doesn't really tell what happened to them later. It makes me feel confused as I'm still expecting some explanation on their part to complete the whole movie. This leaves me some doubt whether some scene have been edited for the release. I will rate this for 3.5 out of 5 due to the missing part. Else I could rate higher at least I don't feel blur after watching this movie.

Anyhow this is still a highly recommended movie. If you're looking for comedy horror film, this is just right for you. Of course you may just ignore the lost part I have highlighted just now. The release date for Twisted Love is 26/04/2012.

Twisted Love

Twisted is the latest horror action comedy from Writer Director Chai Yee Wei.

Comprising of actors from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan, this film is a collaboration of some of the best comedic and acting talents from around this region.

Synopsis:

The story revolves around a drug dealer who banged up a young girl, a pair of con men who wants to turn over a new leaf, and 4 cabin crews whose lives were turned upside down over a fateful night of drugs and booze. This is a story of individuals with fates intertwined and how their paths clash. A series of twisted events that is both a study on cause and effect, and how our actions affect the people around us.

I'm certainly looking forward for this movie with my favorite Singapore actor, Mark Lee.

It was a lovely Friday on 13/01/2012, I received something special on this day.

I'm lucky enough to be one of the 50 contestant to join Cella Paramedical trial experience sharing via Facebook.

I received two items which is Cella biofiber nano-cellulose mask – whitening and moisturizing (single pack);

OK not wasting more time, let's start. I will try on Cella biofiber Nano-cellulose Eye Mask - Anti-ageing first then continue with Cella biofiber nano-cellulose mask – whitening and moisturizing.

There's 3 layer have to remove the blue and white layer.

Just leave the middle part the transparent layer.

Obviously I can feel the lifting on my eye and all the essences is absorbed into my face. Only 20 minutes, I can see that my eye bag is not so obvious now.

Conclusion for Cella biofiber Nano-cellulose Eye Mask - Anti-ageing:

Things I like: 

1) Easy to remove.

2) Easy to apply.

3) Not easily torn.

Things I dislike:

1) A little troublesome to remove the layer before I can apply on my eye.

Next, it's Cella biofiber nano-cellulose mask – whitening and moisturizing.

Wow, I feel so happy to see my dark spots is lighten and I can feel the moisturizing on my face.

Things I like:

1) Very stick to my face.

2) The essence is easily absorb.

3) No need to remove after used.

Things I dislike:

1) Take some time to remove the layer before I can apply on my face.

2) The facial mask is a little bit big for me.

I woke up early morning on Friday 06/01/2012 and I found a surprise mail which I believed received it on last night, Thursday 05/01/2012.

It's actually a mask free trial contest by FABULA HEALTH. I'm so lucky to be one of the 50 shortlist candidates to join the trial experience.

I'm so excited as this is going to be my 1st ever review on skincare product testing. Let's see the photo that I submitted for the contest.

I planed to have 2 separate testing so that it's much easier to do a comparison on before and after. I decided to test for Fabula Bio Fiber Nano-Cellulose Eye mask-Anti aging first.

I really enjoy the 20 minutes pampering session. After I finished I fall asleep because it's too relaxing to have the icy cool feeling on my eye bag. You can notice a significant change on my eye bag color. It's not so obvious and my eye bag problem seems improving.

Conclusion for Fabula Bio Fiber Nano-Cellulose Eye mask-Anti aging:

Things I like:

1) Easily to remove.

2) The icy cool texture feeling.

3) Easy to apply on my eye.

4) The lifted feeling after using.

Things I dislike:

1) Very easily torn (That's the reason why I need to get help from my sis help to take this photo when I'm lying on the bed)

2) Too much layer (Actually it's easy to remove but I still prefer if it's 1 layer which much suitable for person who lazy like me LOL)

OK, next will be Fabula Bio Fiber Nano-CelluloseFacial Mask-Whitening and moisurizing. I decided to test it again at night before I sleep.

This is another 20 minutes pampering session for myself. The icy cool texture feeling is the same with the eye mask. After finished, I fall asleep again really so relax. I can see the glowing on my face and I can feel the lifting on my face as well.

Time for Fabula Bio Fiber Nano-CelluloseFacial Mask-Whitening and moisurizing conclusion:

Things I like: 

1) Stick to my face not easily fall.

2) The facial essence is easily absorb to my face.

3) I don't need to clean my face after finished. (Suitable for lazy people like me LOL)

Things I dislike:

1) Very troublesome to remove the layer.

2) The facial mask size is a little bit too big for me.

3) Very hard to apply on my face because the texture is too soft where I find it easily tear off.

Final conclusion for both product, I find it really helps to improve my skin issues. I get instant moisturizing and my eye bag color seems lightening. However if they can improve a little bit of those dislike things that I've highlighted, it would be much better.

Carlsberg “Where’s The Party?”

I had been hearing Carlsberg “Where’s The Party?” before but I didn't managed to join for the first time they held in Golden Palm Tree Sea Villas & Spa, Sepang Goldcoast. Oh gosh, that's really amazing and how wonderful which I can really imagine how fun and exciting everyone who joined that event. Then finally I managed to get myself a pass in very last minute.

Right after Sembonia Fashion Workshop, Coreen and I went to Kelana Jaya to meet up with Kelvin and Sharon. We got inside Kelvin's car to go to the event I have waited for so long. We have been asked to gather at Shah Alam Stadium around 2-3pm. We reached around 2.30pm.

We finally get so close now.

This is really amazing crowd.

Important message by Carlsberg as they want us to have a safe yet exciting party tonight.

I got a media pass so I follow the signboard for my registration.

We had been assigned our own, unique RFID (Radio-Frequency Identity) tags, which enabled us to collect points from the games we played and redeem prizes accordingly.

I'm truly exhausted and regretted for not follow what they have reminded casual wear. I wore heels from morning 10am till 6pm, I totally surrendered and took off my heels else I should be fainted.

You can't imagine they even provide free foot massage here. I'm truly regretted as I just found out around 9pm and they don't accept anymore guest.

This is what I redeemed from all the games that I have participated.

I have lots of fun at Carlsberg “Where’s The Party?”. Even though this time they held at the very own Carlsberg Malaysia’s Brewery in Shah Alam instead of a classy place like last year. 

Forgot to mention the RFID tags were linked to our Facebook accounts and enabled us to update their Facebook status simply by tagging on the “Like” stations throughout the brewery. This is indeed a superb idea which I have never seen elsewhere. I'm looking forward to attend it again next year. Certainly a can't missed party of the year for everyone.
